COGIC Praise and Worship and Choir Team By: Stephanie Gerald - COGIC, Wood St.

The National Youth Praise Team is under the leadership of Rebecca Folkes. The New Generation of Hope Choir is under the leadership of Missionary Carol Thompson & Sinead Harriot, together with conductors Hayley Thomas, Rebecca Folkes, Stephanie Gerald and new addition Jonathan Addai.

My desire for all the teams throughout the Convention, including National Praise & Worship and New Generation of Hope Choir, is that God will show Himself as a new name to us, revealing something that we have not known of Him, just as He had told Moses in Exodus 6:3, “And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them. “

My prayer is we see the new work that God is doing in us as a national team according to Isaiah 43:18-19, “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”

In our personal lives and as a team, we really understand that Unity is the way in which we move forward with one desire. That we present a sweet-smelling savor when we sing to God, that He will recognize our sound and it will not be a strange fire sent (see Leviticus 10).

In closing, my final desire is that when we come together before service and seek The Lord that we get LOST IN HIM with our joint worship and be free to adore Our King in the overflow that will spill into the services of convention and be continuous throughout. That we remain SENSITIVE TO THE HOLY SPIRIT and where He wants us to lead and set the atmosphere for Him to come and inhabit in our praise, in spite of our praise & worship set list.
